Questions are language demands

We create a demand for meaning by using a scarcity of words. And like scarcity in the material world, scarcity in the langauge world creates action.

To be consistent with the post, you really should have said - Huh? not Explain. Shame on you.

The scarcity of words in aphoristic phrases creates the appearance of deeper meaning, and prompts a search for understanding. This search is normally launched with a question, however, for you, I've noticed, the "action" is a command.
